California Corporate Resources, Inc. (CCR) was founded in 1998 by John M. Cockrell.  CCR has been involved with the business success and development of hundreds of corporations and limited liability companies (LLC).  It focuses primarily on business formations and corporate compliance.  Although CCR is located in and concentrates on California, they are and will continue to be instrumental in setting up organizations throughout the United States.

John M. Cockrell was born and raised in Canada and immigrated to the United States in 1980 with his wife and their two children.  His career has been varied from professional athlete to Canadian diplomat to the private sector.  His strengths included his concern and genuine interest for each of his clients, their goals and their dreams.  Although John retired from the company at the end of 2007, the staff continue to employ his philosophy.  “If I can help each one of our clients come away from our meetings with a greater sense of understanding of their corporate responsibilities, then I have succeeded.  Having gone down the corporate path alone many years ago, and making my share of mistakes, I felt it was critically important to provide my clients with an educational element to our corporate services."

CCR has put together ‘The Corp Doctor®’ program for corporate and LLC entities.  Through this program, companies can have their existing documentation reviewed by an expert to help ensure that it meets government requirements for compliance.  Does the entity have annual meeting minutes for each year?  Has the entity filed yearly with the necessary state agencies?  Does the entity have stock certificates and/or membership certificates? Etc.  Once reviewed, the potential client will know exactly what may be missing, how it can be fixed and what it will cost.  They can also sign up for an ongoing yearly maintanence program.
